lizabeth Welsh is an author who writes science fiction/low fantasy that examines life’s big questions about the nature of reality, poetic Truth, myth, and philosophy.
Hopelessly peripatetic, she has lived in 11 states and had an eclectic mix of jobs, some of which include casual spy, fake patient for medical students, departmental support at Caltech, teaching ballerinas to act, and popping up in approximately a nanosecond of a Spielberg film.
She earned BAs in theatre and English because she believes that storytelling is humanity’s most potent magic for weaving connections. Additionally, she has written dozens of essays on the blog Icarus Swam that explore how to shape a better world through literature and philosophy.
Elizabeth lives in an enchanted forest of named houseplants with an assortment of chubby cats who serve as her Mewses and a handsome Trickster Hero who charms her with wordplay.
